Love hate my computer...

Photoshop, photoshop what have you done...

Painting with REAL brushes is rarely done

Pencils and paper just sit and wait

while I am absorbed in a forum debate

Emails are answered in top notch speed

while a desire to cook rapidly receeds

The sun is shining it is time to go out

but my apple screen is winning... no doubt

Mother's Day

Sometimes I take my Mother too much for granted and only when I became a parent did I understand just how much my Mother cares for and cherishes her children.

I am also beginning to realise all too late how precious a relationship with a Grandmother can be.

I loved to visit my Grandmother and share afternoon tea with her. She would always use the best china tea set and that pretty tea set has stayed in my memory forever.

My Mother shared with me how much that meant to her and that she still has one of those special teacups that belonged to my Grandmother.

The tea set was a wedding present given to my Grandmother, she was a ladies maid, by her employer.

Make your Mother a "Queen" for a day!

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland has renewed it's magical charm on the imagination with the release of the new Disney version of the movie.

I have not seen the movie it yet but I am reading the story and enjoying the wonderful creative illustrations collected through the years from different publications.

It is with some excitement that my own illustration of Alice has sparked interest from publishers, more on that later:)
