Gardening pleasures

Planting our lavendar and pretty spring flowers has given me so much pleasure.
The warm spring sunshine is encouraging quick growth and the little courtyard garden
is becoming quite beautiful. My clever husband built the dry stone wall.
The violas are the tiny seedlings that decorated the reception tables
at our daughter's wedding in May.

I think I have a bit of a spring envy, just a little. Well, this year I'm actually welcoming the arrival of autumn. We are enjoying such a wonderful weather and I'm curious to see how Luxembourg will look when the leaves start changing colours.

Oh your courtyard garden is lovely. The violas are the perfect companion to the lavender that will soon be giving lots of blossoms. What a lovely "second life" for the precious violas (a favorite of mine).
